chocolat
I feel like September 17th is supposed to be an important day, but I can't place why. So the honeymoon is over, yet I'm still loving this place. Perhaps what I love the most is the chocolate shop in the old town. Just like the movie "Chocolat": strong, intense, fantastically mesmerizing. Have been there twice in one week. Amy, (who checks this religiously:) you would love this place! The hot chocolate is real melted chocolate mixed with cream. Then spices, fruits, liquors are added as you choose.
There's a party in Bratislava this weekend at Markova 7 in Petrazalke. We're hosting 6 friends from Ostrava, Czech Republic and 4 or 5 from Budapest, Hungary. It's going to be a rockin good time. Our apartment is perfect for guests: we can sleep 4 or 5 on beds and many on the floor in our unfurnished part of the flat. So for all the readers stateside: you are welcome to come visit and bring upto 9 of your closest friends.
How grand it is to have a weekend following a hard week of work. Priya arrived here safely last week Friday. So far we haven't gotten into any fist-fights so I'd say things are going well. Naw, for real, I think things will be swell this year. She's figuring out the elementary and I'm glad that I'm mostly in the gymnazium.
So I'm out for the time being. I hope you all are well. You can always write to tell me at: lkaurin@gmail.com.
